Water and Climate Change Panel Discussion

City Conference Centre, Drottninggatan 71b and Barnhusgatan 12-14 Stockholm, Sweden
In presence of WWC president, Benedito Braga, this lunchtime panel discussion will address the following questions:
    • How can governments, businesses, NGOs and foundations work together to incorporate water knowledge into climate policy?
    • Considering the water-related impacts of climate change, we must ask - why are water issues not at the top of the global climate agenda?
    • As the deadline for a climate agreement draws near, it is time to bring together global leaders to discuss how water can be better incorporated into the crucial discussions leading up to, and during COP21
    • What more can governments, businesses, and NGOs do in the run-up to Paris to get water issues on the climate agenda?
    • Post COP21, how can we help to ensure the water-related recommendations will be integrated at a national level?

The seminar will be held on Thursday 27 August 2015 at 12.45pm – 1.45pm during World Water Week in Stockholm.
