ICWRE-2014

The GIWEH - Global Institute for Water Environment and Health (a Geneva-based non-governmental organization and a think tank) is pleased to invite you to participate in the third International Conference on Water Resources and Environmental Management (ICWRE 2014). The

ICWRE-2014 follows successful ICWRE-2011 (20-24 November 2011; Marrakesh, Morocco) and ICWRE-2013 (09-11 April 2013; Geneva, Switzerland).

 

The conference aims at bridging a gap between policy, science and practice in the field of water resources and environmental management; becoming an efficient discussion platform for stakeholders from all over the world; contributing to debates on environment related topics that take place on national different levels; sharing knowledge and raising awareness of environmental issues. The title of the 2014 conference is “Role of Governance in the Management of Water Resources and Environment”.

 

The conference will be held in Antalya, Turkey. Antalya is located in Turkish Riviera and in 2012 became the third most visited city in the world by number of international arrivals. It is an ideal location to host this event because of its harmonious mixture of long history, picturesque environment, and dynamic economics.
