The on-line signing of the tri-partite agreement which seals the collaboration around the next World Water Forum took place during the 79th Board of Governors of the World Water Council, from Cairo, last October 15th.
The Indonesian Ministers Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment and Mr. Basuki Hadilmujono, Minister of Public Works and Housing, as well as the Governor of Bali, Mr. Wayan Koster, and the President of the World Water Council, Mr. Loic Fauchon, surrounded by a large number of participants, were present on-line simultaneously. Loic Fauchon, surrounded by the Board members and the Indonesian delegation present in Cairo, signed the agreement on-site.
The 10th edition of the World Water Forum will be held from 18 to 24 May 2024 in Bali.
To prepare this Forum, 3 meetings gathering the stakeholders will be held in Indonesia:
– The Kick-Off meeting and the 1st stakeholder consultation meeting: 15 and 16 February 2023 in Jakarta
– The second stakeholder consultation meeting will follow in September 2023
