The 11th World Water Forum Secretariat has opened the call for contributions to the Regional Process Sessions, inviting institutions and individuals from across the global water community to help shape one of the Forum’s core pillars of dialogue and exchange.
This is a chance for water professionals, researchers, practitioners, and institutions worldwide to bring their expertise, field experience, and practical solutions directly into the Forum’s regional agenda — helping ensure the sessions reflect the realities, challenges, and innovations of every region.

The Regional Process is where global water priorities meet local realities. By contributing, participants help:
- Surface region-specific water challenges and solutions
- Share practical cases, initiatives, and innovations from the field
- Strengthen the professional and technical quality of the Forum’s regional dialogue

Available Roles
Applicants can apply for one of three roles, depending on their profile:
Session Co-Coordinator — open to institutions Institutions can apply to help design and coordinate a Regional Session, shaping its content and direction alongside the Forum’s regional teams.
Session Speaker — open to individuals Individuals with relevant expertise can apply to speak during a session, sharing insights, case studies, or professional perspectives with the audience.
Expert Providing Suggestions or Recommendations — open to individuals Individuals can also contribute behind the scenes, offering suggestions and recommendations that help strengthen session content and outcomes.
