The World Water Council is a non-profit organization known as “Association Loi 1901”. The World Water Council is governed by its Constitution and by-Laws voted by its members through its General Assembly.
The General Assembly meets every three years in ordinary meetings and as needed in extraordinary meetings. It elects and appoints a maximum of 35 members to the Board of Governors in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws. Each member has one vote (regardless of their size and college) to elect the Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors is the decision-making body of the organization, it reports periodically to its members, to decide on the priorities the World Water Council should work on.
The Board of Governors elects its President, who will appoint a Bureau composed of a Vice-President, a Treasurer, and other members.
