AfWA 2020 Congress

The overall theme of AfWA ICE 2020 is “New Breaking new grounds to accelerate access to water and sanitation for all in Africa”. This theme is particularly relevant to the water and sanitation sector in Africa. 

The congress will solution and innovation focused and organized according to the following six tracks:

• Water Management
• Sanitation Management
• Capacity Building
• Financing
• Research and Innovation
• Governance and Regulation

In 2020, AfWA will be celebrating 40 years of existence on the water and sanitation sector in Africa. A number of activities are planned and the highlights of the celebrations will be the 40th Anniversary Dinner hosted by the AfWA President on Sunday 23rd February 2020.
