    India Water Week marks the start of the World Water Council’s week of intense hydro-politics in India :

    • India Water Week 2015 - “Water Management for Sustainable Development: Experiences and future course of action“ with World Water Council Vice-President Dogan Altinbilek - Opening Plenary Tuesday, 13 January at 10:00 AM, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
    • CII Partnership Summit 2015 - “Partnerships for Shared New Realities,” B M Birla Auditorium, Jaipur.

    The World Water Council Vice-President will address on Thursday, 15 January, at the Plenary Session 1 “Defining Shared New Realities,” the stakes of water security and the benefit of shared solutions. The World Water Council will also meet high level Indian governmental representatives in India, including Dr. P.K Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India; Shri. Suresh Prabhu, Honorable Minister of Railways; Mr. Prakash Javedkar, Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (TBC); his highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II; Mr. Nanda, Chairman of the National Water Committee; as well as government representatives of the State of Rajasthan. A World Water Council Members meeting is also organized in Delhi on 13 January with the support of the Jal Bhagirathi Foundation.
