Le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau (CME) vient d'achever une importante tourn\u00e9e en Cor\u00e9e, o\u00f9 il a rencontr\u00e9 des acteurs nationaux et locaux du secteur de l'eau. Cette visite a mis en lumi\u00e8re le leadership de la Cor\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re de gouvernance de l'eau, d'innovation et de diplomatie, et s'est achev\u00e9e par la signature d'un accord de coop\u00e9ration avec le Conseil mondial de l'eau (CME). R\u00e9union des membres cor\u00e9ens du Conseil mondial de l'eau<\/strong> qui s'est tenue le 15 septembre 2025 \u00e0 S\u00e9oul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dialogues de haut niveau avec les gouvernements et les villes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La visite a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par une r\u00e9union strat\u00e9gique avec le vice-ministre Hanseung Kum de l'Union europ\u00e9enne. Minist\u00e8re de l'environnement (MOE)<\/strong>. Les discussions ont mis en lumi\u00e8re les r\u00e9formes de gouvernance de la Cor\u00e9e d\u00e9riv\u00e9es de la loi-cadre sur la gestion de l'eau. Le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau a salu\u00e9 les avanc\u00e9es scientifiques de la Cor\u00e9e, de la pr\u00e9vision des inondations bas\u00e9e sur l'IA aux jumeaux num\u00e9riques pour la gestion des barrages fluviaux, comme des exemples susceptibles d'\u00eatre reproduits \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale. Lors de la r\u00e9union avec la ville de Daegu, le pr\u00e9sident a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 la ville pour son r\u00f4le de pionnier dans l'accueil du Forum mondial des villes d'eau (WWCF), qui est devenu une plateforme phare pour le dialogue entre les villes du monde entier. \u00c0 l'avenir, Daegu jouera un r\u00f4le dans le processus des autorit\u00e9s locales et r\u00e9gionales du Forum de Riyad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors de la r\u00e9union avec le maire d'Andong, Gi-chang Kwon, l'accent a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur la gestion de l'eau en amont, la ville pr\u00e9sentant son plan directeur pour le cycle de l'eau et les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour favoriser l'harmonie entre les eaux d'amont et les communaut\u00e9s en aval. Le Conseil mondial de l'eau a discut\u00e9 des moyens de renforcer le r\u00f4le d'Andong au niveau international en diffusant l'agenda local de l'eau, notamment par le biais d'une collaboration propos\u00e9e pour d\u00e9velopper le r\u00f4le des autorit\u00e9s locales dans la gestion de l'eau et le cycle de l'eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors de la r\u00e9union de la ville de S\u00e9oul, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Seongkook Jeong a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses strat\u00e9gies de r\u00e9silience \u00e0 la suite des r\u00e9centes inondations soudaines provoqu\u00e9es par la division du climat. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des tunnels souterrains profonds, aux pr\u00e9visions de l'IA et aux syst\u00e8mes d'alerte des citoyens, la ville est en train de devenir un mod\u00e8le mondial de r\u00e9silience des eaux urbaines. Le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau a salu\u00e9 le r\u00e9seau vert-bleu de S\u00e9oul et les projets de restauration tels que Cheonggyecheon et d'autres affluents de la rivi\u00e8re Han, qui int\u00e8grent la gestion de l'eau et le renouveau culturel et \u00e9cologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En outre, lors de la r\u00e9union avec le PDG de K-water (Seog-dae Yoon), une s\u00e9rie d'approches visant \u00e0 encourager l'innovation dans les technologies et les politiques du secteur de l'eau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 discut\u00e9es. La r\u00e9union avec le pr\u00e9sident de la KIHS (Youngkee Lee) a mis l'accent sur l'importance des \u00e9tudes hydrologiques et des progr\u00e8s technologiques en mati\u00e8re de donn\u00e9es pour une gestion durable de l'eau. Le pr\u00e9sident a respectueusement demand\u00e9 que les deux institutions amplifient leur expertise et leurs cas lors du prochain Forum mondial de l'eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9union des membres cor\u00e9ens : Solidarit\u00e9 et vision commune<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le point fort de la visite a \u00e9t\u00e9 la R\u00e9union des membres cor\u00e9ens<\/strong> Le 15 septembre, le minist\u00e8re cor\u00e9en de l'environnement a accueilli 25 participants repr\u00e9sentant 13 organisations membres du Conseil mondial de l'eau et des institutions connexes. La r\u00e9union a servi \u00e0 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Renforcer la coop\u00e9ration entre les membres cor\u00e9ens dans le cadre des activit\u00e9s internationales du CME.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00c9tudier comment les exp\u00e9riences de la Cor\u00e9e peuvent \u00eatre diffus\u00e9es au niveau mondial par l'interm\u00e9diaire du Conseil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Discuter des contributions des membres cor\u00e9ens \u00e0 la vision du Conseil mondial de l'eau et au processus du Forum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Des minist\u00e8res nationaux aux instituts de recherche en passant par les administrations municipales, la r\u00e9union a mis en \u00e9vidence la diversit\u00e9 et la force des membres de la Cor\u00e9e. Les participants ont r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 leur engagement \u00e0 apporter leur expertise, leur technologie et leurs mod\u00e8les de gouvernance \u00e0 l'agenda mondial de l'eau par le biais des activit\u00e9s du Conseil mondial de l'eau et du prochain Forum mondial de l'eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Perspectives d'avenir<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau a mis l'accent sur trois imp\u00e9ratifs pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau dans le monde : Conserver, r\u00e9server et servir<\/strong>-prot\u00e9ger les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes, garantir les ressources pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures et assurer l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 tous. Le parcours de la Cor\u00e9e, des r\u00e9formes de gouvernance \u00e0 l'innovation technique en passant par le leadership au niveau des villes, montre comment ces principes peuvent \u00eatre traduits en actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    La tourn\u00e9e s'est achev\u00e9e sur un nouvel \u00e9lan en faveur du r\u00f4le de la Cor\u00e9e en tant que leader scientifique et diplomatique dans la gouvernance mondiale de l'eau.
