Riyad, avril 2025<\/span><\/em> - Le voyage vers le 11e Forum mondial de l'eau a officiellement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 Riyad, o\u00f9 le Royaume d'Arabie saoudite et le Conseil mondial de l'eau ont organis\u00e9 conjointement le coup d'envoi et la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9union des parties prenantes. Plus de 600 participants de 60 pays et organisations se sont r\u00e9unis pour lancer le processus pr\u00e9paratoire du Forum, pr\u00e9parant ainsi le terrain pour le plus grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement international consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau, pr\u00e9vu pour 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ce premier rassemblement a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s, offrant une occasion unique de dialogue, d'\u00e9change et de collaboration entre les acteurs mondiaux. Pendant deux jours, les participants se sont rencontr\u00e9s en personne pour partager leurs id\u00e9es et leurs priorit\u00e9s, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la conviction que l'eau est l'une des questions d\u00e9terminantes de notre si\u00e8cle.<\/span><\/p>\n

L'ordre du jour comprenait trois volets principaux : les processus politiques, r\u00e9gionaux et th\u00e9matiques. Chaque processus a fait l'objet d'une session d\u00e9di\u00e9e afin de commencer \u00e0 d\u00e9finir le contenu et les priorit\u00e9s du Forum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faire avancer l'agenda politique et r\u00e9gional<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de la session politique<\/strong>, Les repr\u00e9sentants de haut niveau ont tenu une discussion \u00e0 huis clos sur la mani\u00e8re d'\u00e9lever l'eau au rang de priorit\u00e9 mondiale. Ils ont soulign\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de renforcer la coordination entre les diff\u00e9rents niveaux politiques, d'inclure les utilisateurs finaux dans la prise de d\u00e9cision et de planifier \u00e0 long terme les \u00e9v\u00e9nements mondiaux cl\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'eau en 2026 et 2027. La collaboration, la r\u00e9silience et l'investissement ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9s comme des principes essentiels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le session du processus r\u00e9gional<\/strong> s'est concentr\u00e9e sur le partage des objectifs et des fonctions communs des diff\u00e9rents acteurs r\u00e9gionaux dans la dynamique du Forum. Parmi beaucoup d'autres, l'identification des priorit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales et des pratiques locales a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9e comme l'objectif principal du processus. En organisant cette session, les acteurs r\u00e9gionaux potentiels du Forum ont explor\u00e9 les moyens de renforcer la coop\u00e9ration au sein des r\u00e9gions et entre elles, de relever des d\u00e9fis communs en mettant en \u0153uvre des solutions au niveau local et d'amplifier la voix politique de l'eau dans leurs r\u00e9gions respectives par le biais du processus r\u00e9gional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fondements th\u00e9matiques du forum<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le c\u0153ur du contenu du Forum, \u00e0 savoir processus th\u00e9matique<\/strong>-a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 au cours de six s\u00e9ances en petits groupes. Les participants ont \u00e9chang\u00e9 des id\u00e9es et ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des sujets potentiels pour six th\u00e8mes : La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau, le financement de l'eau, la diplomatie de l'eau, l'eau pour les humains et la nature, la valeur de l'eau et l'innovation pour l'eau. Ces sessions ont encourag\u00e9 une r\u00e9flexion nouvelle et une collaboration intersectorielle, et ont permis d'\u00e9tablir un cadre commun pour un engagement continu tout au long du processus pr\u00e9paratoire du Forum.<\/p>\n

Ces discussions ont jet\u00e9 les bases des connaissances et des solutions qui seront mises en \u0153uvre \u00e0 l'avenir.<\/span><\/span>uider le d\u00e9veloppement du Forum au cours des deux prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
