Lors d'une tourn\u00e9e de plaidoyer de haut niveau \u00e0 travers huit villes cl\u00e9s - Rome, Abu Dhabi, New-Delhi, P\u00e9kin, Bordeaux, Le Caire, Madrid et Montpellier - le Conseil mondial de l'eau (CME) a d\u00e9fendu ses messages du Forum mondial de l'eau, en se concentrant sur les d\u00e9fis et les solutions en mati\u00e8re d'eau \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale. Dirig\u00e9e par Lo\u00efc Fauchon, pr\u00e9sident du CME, la tourn\u00e9e a mis l'accent sur l'importance de s'attaquer \u00e0 la p\u00e9nurie d'eau, \u00e0 la pression d\u00e9mographique, \u00e0 la r\u00e9silience climatique et \u00e0 l'agriculture, ainsi qu'au financement innovant de la gestion durable de l'eau. Chaque \u00e9tape a mis en lumi\u00e8re les pr\u00e9occupations r\u00e9gionales tout en renfor\u00e7ant les partenariats mondiaux. Message du pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau<\/em><\/p>\n

L'eau est une priorit\u00e9 mondiale : de la politique \u00e0 l'hydro-diplomatie<\/h2>\n

Pas \u00e0 pas, l'eau devient une question politique gr\u00e2ce au message \u2018l'eau c'est de la politique\u2019 que nous affirmons depuis une d\u00e9cennie \u00e0 chaque \u00e9v\u00e9nement, \u00e0 chaque r\u00e9union et \u00e0 chaque discours.<\/p>\n

Le Conseil mondial de l'eau est entendu, et mois apr\u00e8s mois, nous sommes de plus en plus compris.<\/p>\n

Les chefs d'\u00c9tat et de gouvernement, les ministres, les parlementaires, les \u00e9lus locaux et de bassin comprennent qu'au-del\u00e0 des innovations, ils doivent prendre des d\u00e9cisions purement politiques.<\/p>\n

Cette volont\u00e9 politique pour l'eau s'affirme dans un cadre international, notamment dans les situations transfrontali\u00e8res. Elle appelle \u00e0 une coop\u00e9ration accrue, \u00e0 des \u00e9changes technologiques, \u00e0 de nouveaux financements et \u00e0 une gouvernance partag\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/p>\n

C'est l'essence m\u00eame de l'hydro-diplomatie que nous nous effor\u00e7ons de promouvoir. C'est aussi le sens de ce tour du monde que nous entreprenons tout au long de ces mois et en 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

La cause de l'eau l'exige. C'est aussi la cause de la paix, de la dignit\u00e9 et de la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9.<\/p>\n
