Il appartient aux dirigeants politiques de faire preuve d'audace et d'adopter des r\u00e9ponses concr\u00e8tes. Nous voulons tous leur montrer la voie.<\/p>\n<p>23 ao\u00fbt 2019, Stockholm, Su\u00e8de - \u201cUn signal fort d'engagement doit venir de tous les niveaux de gouvernance politique pour donner le ton et augmenter les flux de financement pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la gestion des ressources en eau.\u201d Tel est le message que le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau, Loic Fauchon, partagera avec les dirigeants de la communaut\u00e9 de l'eau et les d\u00e9cideurs lors de la Semaine mondiale de l'eau.<\/p>\n<h3>L'eau a besoin d'argent<\/h3>\n<p>L'approvisionnement et la gestion de l'eau sont co\u00fbteux, en particulier dans les pays qui ont trop ou pas assez d'eau. La construction, l'entretien et le renouvellement des infrastructures et des \u00e9quipements tels que les transferts massifs d'eau, les grands r\u00e9servoirs, les usines de dessalement et les syst\u00e8mes de r\u00e9utilisation des eaux us\u00e9es sont co\u00fbteux. Il faut surtout former tous les hommes et les femmes qui assurent les services de l'eau.<\/p>\n<h3>L'eau, c'est de la politique<\/h3>\n<p>Les fonds sont disponibles, mais personne ne veut les d\u00e9penser pour l'eau. Les d\u00e9cideurs politiques doivent prendre leurs responsabilit\u00e9s. Ils sont les seuls \u00e0 pouvoir cr\u00e9er les environnements favorables qui rassureront les investisseurs et attireront les capitaux. Une plus grande priorit\u00e9 politique pour l'eau et l'assainissement est indispensable pour lib\u00e9rer les ressources financi\u00e8res n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n<h3>Le Conseil mondial de l'eau propose des r\u00e9ponses pratiques<\/h3>\n<p>En plus des recommandations politiques du Conseil, Loic Fauchon proposera aux responsables politiques des r\u00e9ponses pratiques aux questions relatives au financement de l'eau :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effacer la \u201cdette hydrique\u201d dans les 50 pays les plus touch\u00e9s par le manque d'eau ;<\/li>\n<li>Associer les projets de financement de l'eau \u00e0 d'autres services (\u00e9nergie, alimentation, sant\u00e9),<\/li>\n<li>l'\u00e9ducation) ;<\/li>\n<li>Appliquer le principe \u201cl'eau paie l'eau\u201d aux \u00c9tats et aux municipalit\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le Conseil saisit toutes les occasions qui s'offrent \u00e0 lui pour sensibiliser les plus hautes instances \u00e0 ces questions et continuera d'appeler \u00e0 une plus grande priorit\u00e9 politique en faveur de l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau et \u00e0 l'assainissement pour tous. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwatercouncil.org\/en\/wef-report-exposes-urgency-increase-water-financing\">En savoir plus sur les travaux du Conseil sur le financement de l'eau<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are large pools of capital for investments that could be used for ambitious water projects.
