Le Cabo Verde, son premier ministre, les membres du cabinet et le parlement national ont accueilli 200 participants du monde entier \u00e0 Praia du 19 au 22 mars. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, qui comprenait la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la Journ\u00e9e mondiale de l'eau, \u00e9tait \u00e9galement soutenu par la FAO, le FIDA et les gouvernements italien et suisse.<\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des discussions visant \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux six domaines de travail de WASAG : Eau et migration ; Pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse ; Eau et nutrition ; M\u00e9canismes financiers ; Utilisation durable de l'eau dans l'agriculture ; et Agriculture saline. Les \u00e9changes ont donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 l'engagement de Praia (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwatercouncil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/DraftPRAIA_Committment-final.pdf\">Version anglaise<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwatercouncil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/DraftPRAIA_Committment-final_PT.pdf\">Version portugaise<\/a>), un document qui souligne la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de partager l'apprentissage et de travailler ensemble au-del\u00e0 des cloisonnements pour adapter les syst\u00e8mes agricoles et alimentaires afin d'att\u00e9nuer les effets de la p\u00e9nurie d'eau et du changement climatique, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et hydrique mondiale.<\/p>\n<p>Ce fut \u00e9galement l'occasion d'impliquer la nation ouest-africaine dans la pr\u00e9paration du 9\u00e8me Forum mondial de l'eau \u00e0 travers un \u00e9v\u00e9nement parall\u00e8le organis\u00e9 par le Conseil mondial de l'eau et ses partenaires s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, en pr\u00e9sence de l'Ambassadeur du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal au Cabo Verde.
