Le 1er d\u00e9cembre, le Conseil mondial de l'eau a annonc\u00e9 la composition de son nouveau Conseil des gouverneurs, qui supervisera et guidera le travail du Conseil au cours des trois prochaines ann\u00e9es. Les \u00e9lections ont eu lieu lors de l'assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale triennale qui s'est tenue les 30 novembre et 1er d\u00e9cembre \u00e0 Marseille, en France, et \u00e0 laquelle ont particip\u00e9 plus de 250 personnes venues de 35 pays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le deuxi\u00e8me jour de l'Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les gouverneurs nouvellement nomm\u00e9s ont \u00e9lu \u00e0 l'unanimit\u00e9 Lo\u00efc Fauchon au poste de pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau pour le prochain mandat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo\u00efc Fauchon a ensuite nomm\u00e9 Asma El Kasmi, de l'Office National de l'Electricit\u00e9 et de l'Eau Potable - Branche Eau (ONEE), vice-pr\u00e9sidente, ainsi que Ahmet Saat\u00e7i, de l'Institut turc de l'eau (SUEN), Rui Godinho, de l'Association portugaise des services de l'eau et des eaux us\u00e9es Association portugaise des services de l'eau et des eaux us\u00e9es (APDA), et Qiuchi Shi, de l'International Economic & Technical Cooperation and Exchange Center (INTCE), en tant que membres du Bureau.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le nouveau pr\u00e9sident a remerci\u00e9 les membres de l'avoir \u00e9lu et a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 l'ancien conseil d'administration et son pr\u00e9sident, Benedito Braga, pour les progr\u00e8s importants r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau pendant son mandat.<\/p>\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir, la nouveau conseil d'administration<\/a>\u00a0supervisera la mise en \u0153uvre de la strat\u00e9gie triennale du Conseil, en s'appuyant sur le travail accompli au cours des trois ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. La nouvelle strat\u00e9gie met l'accent sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la durabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience de l'eau, tout en cherchant des moyens de renforcer les relations entre les membres du Conseil.
