Ce prix, l'une des plus hautes distinctions dans le secteur de l'eau, r\u00e9compense l'excellence en mati\u00e8re de \u201ccoop\u00e9ration et de bonne gestion dans le d\u00e9veloppement et l'utilisation des ressources en eau\u201d. L'OCDE a re\u00e7u $100 000 USD en plus du prix. \u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nLors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'ouverture du 8e Forum mondial de l'eau, qui se tient actuellement dans la capitale br\u00e9silienne, Brasilia, Angel Gurria, le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l'organisation laur\u00e9ate, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que recevoir ce prix \u00e9tait un grand honneur. Il a ensuite soulign\u00e9 les probl\u00e8mes accablants li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'eau auxquels le monde continue d'\u00eatre confront\u00e9 : \u201cPlus de 2 milliards de personnes vivent dans des pays o\u00f9 le stress hydrique est excessif, alors que certains d\u00e9fis ne font m\u00eame pas la une des journaux et sont pourtant d\u00e9vastateurs. Un exemple est celui des millions de filles qui ne peuvent pas aller \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole, simplement parce qu'il n'y a pas de toilettes. Nous devons faire en sorte que ces statistiques choquantes appartiennent au pass\u00e9\u201d L'OCDE, dont le si\u00e8ge est \u00e0 Paris (France), a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue pour son travail visant \u00e0 \u00e9lever la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau au rang de question cruciale, \u00e0 assurer une plus grande visibilit\u00e9 au niveau mondial pour un large \u00e9ventail de questions connexes et \u00e0 fournir des orientations politiques sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau aux membres de l'OCDE et aux pays non membres.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nLe Grand Prix mondial de l'eau Roi Hassan II, qui en est \u00e0 sa 6e \u00e9dition, est un outil politique prestigieux et de renomm\u00e9e mondiale, cr\u00e9\u00e9 conjointement par le Royaume du Maroc et le Conseil mondial de l'eau, en hommage \u00e0 Sa Majest\u00e9 le d\u00e9funt Roi Hassan II. Le prix est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 tous les trois ans lors du Forum mondial de l'eau par un jury international. Le jury de cette ann\u00e9e \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Charafat Afailal El Yedri, secr\u00e9taire d'\u00c9tat au minist\u00e8re marocain de l'\u00e9quipement, du transport, de la logistique et de l'eau. Le prix est plac\u00e9 sous le signe de la \u201ccoop\u00e9ration et de la solidarit\u00e9 dans les domaines de la gestion et du d\u00e9veloppement des ressources en eau\u201d. Cette 6e \u00e9dition vise \u00e0 r\u00e9compenser les candidats qui \u0153uvrent pour \u201cune plus grande solidarit\u00e9 et inclusion afin d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau et la justice climatique\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\nLa remise de la 6e \u00e9dition du Grand Prix du Roi Hassan II est l'une des nombreuses activit\u00e9s et pr\u00e9sentations importantes qui se d\u00e9roulent actuellement dans le cadre du 8e Forum mondial de l'eau. Fond\u00e9 par le Conseil mondial de l'eau, le Forum mondial de l'eau repr\u00e9sente un point de rencontre international pour discuter des probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'eau et trouver des solutions aux questions d'eau les plus pressantes dans le monde. Le Forum mondial de l'eau se tiendra du 18 au 23 mars 2018, sous le th\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u201cPartager l'eau\u201d, compte tenu du r\u00f4le de l'eau dans l'unification des communaut\u00e9s et l'\u00e9limination des barri\u00e8res. Le Conseil mondial de l'eau invite tout le monde \u00e0 participer au plus grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement mondial li\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau, qui rassemble des chefs d'\u00c9tat, des ministres, des d\u00e9cideurs de haut niveau, des experts et des professionnels de l'eau, des autorit\u00e9s locales, des repr\u00e9sentants de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des universitaires.
