D\u00e9clarant que \u201cl'approvisionnement en eau et l'assainissement sont \u00e9galement essentiels \u00e0 l'inclusion sociale\u201d, le pr\u00e9sident Braga a rappel\u00e9 aux participants que la gestion urbaine durable comprend une dimension \u00e9conomique, environnementale, mais aussi sociale.  Offrir un service \u00e9gal \u00e0 chaque habitant, avec la m\u00eame qualit\u00e9 et la m\u00eame disponibilit\u00e9 de l'eau, quel que soit son milieu d'origine, est une condition pr\u00e9alable au bien-\u00eatre social en milieu urbain. Le Conseil mondial de l'eau se r\u00e9jouit \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e de poursuivre sa collaboration avec ses partenaires d'Asie-Pacifique pour que l'eau figure en meilleure place dans l'agenda urbain.<\/div>\n<div>Le m\u00eame jour, le Conseil mondial de l'eau et le Forum Asie-Pacifique de l'eau ont c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 respectivement leur 20e et 10e anniversaire. \u00c0 cette occasion, de nombreux invit\u00e9s de marque, dont le professeur Tommy Koh, ambassadeur itin\u00e9rant du minist\u00e8re des affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res de Singapour, M. Chua Soon Guan, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral adjoint de PUB, et d'autres repr\u00e9sentants de haut niveau de la communaut\u00e9 internationale de l'eau, se sont joints au pr\u00e9sident Benedito Braga et \u00e0 Ravi Narayanan, pr\u00e9sident du Forum de l'eau pour l'Asie et le Pacifique, afin de comm\u00e9morer l'engagement et le partenariat des deux organisations en faveur de l'inclusion de la voix de l'Asie au sein du Forum mondial de l'eau. La c\u00e9l\u00e9bration a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie d'une session fructueuse et interactive sur la gestion int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des eaux urbaines et les liens avec les secteurs de planification connexes.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Le 11 juillet, le pr\u00e9sident Braga s'est exprim\u00e9 lors du forum des ministres de l'eau de l'ANASE Plus Trois sur le th\u00e8me \u201cEnhancing Sustainability and Building Climate Resilience in Water Supply and Sanitation\u201d (Renforcer la durabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience climatique dans l'approvisionnement en eau et l'assainissement). Il a soulign\u00e9 que le changement climatique doit \u00eatre pris en compte en m\u00eame temps que le financement durable et innovant de la construction et de l'entretien des infrastructures existantes afin d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'eau. Le pr\u00e9sident Braga a ajout\u00e9 que \u201cpour r\u00e9duire ces impacts de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale, nous devons aider \u00e0 renforcer les capacit\u00e9s et la r\u00e9silience des zones les plus expos\u00e9es et les moins bien \u00e9quip\u00e9es\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>Dans les prochains jours, le pr\u00e9sident Braga participera au Forum des entreprises d'Am\u00e9rique latine pour rappeler que l'eau doit \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une opportunit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique plut\u00f4t que comme un risque.
