Lo\u00efc Fauchon, pr\u00e9sident honoraire du Conseil mondial de l'eau et membre de longue date du Conseil mondial de l'eau, s'est vu d\u00e9cerner le Prix de l'eau par S.A.R. le Prince Albert II de Monaco lors de la 8e c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise des prix de la Fondation du Prince pour ses actions en faveur de la cause de l'eau. \u201cC'est l'eau qui est mise \u00e0 l'honneur aujourd'hui. Ses d\u00e9fis sont immenses pour une humanit\u00e9 confront\u00e9e \u00e0 la pression d\u00e9mographique et \u00e0 l'\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de vie\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Fauchon lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise des prix qui s'est tenue vendredi dernier au Grimaldi Forum de Monaco.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u201cLoic Fauchon a donn\u00e9 une densit\u00e9 politique aux travaux du Conseil mondial de l'eau. C'est un prix tr\u00e8s m\u00e9rit\u00e9\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Benedito Braga, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau, qui a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/div>\n
M. Fauchon a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 en reconnaissance d'une carri\u00e8re d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la cause de l'eau dans le monde que ce soit \u00e0 travers ses actions dans le domaine de l'humanitaire associatif avec l'ONG TransSahara, en tant qu'administrateur puis directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Eaux de Marseille, ou en tant que pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau (2006-2012). Ses missions lui ont permis de porter son message aupr\u00e8s de la communaut\u00e9 internationale, de faire entendre sa voix jusqu'aux Nations Unies et de donner un \u00e9lan sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00e0 la cause de l'eau pour tous.<\/div>\n
