Les tables rondes ont r\u00e9uni des repr\u00e9sentants internationaux des secteurs de l'\u00e9nergie et de l'eau et se sont concentr\u00e9es sur des sujets articul\u00e9s autour de la gouvernance de l'eau et de l'\u00e9nergie, de l'efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des services de l'eau et des innovations dans le domaine de l'eau et de l'\u00e9nergie. Des exemples d'implication des autorit\u00e9s locales dans ces questions ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s.<\/div>\n<div>Avec l'augmentation de la population mondiale, l'eau et l'\u00e9nergie sont de plus en plus n\u00e9cessaires pour soutenir des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s qui deviennent rapidement plus urbaines et prosp\u00e8res. \u201cLa planification et la gestion des ressources en eau s'effectuent au niveau des bassins hydrographiques. Nous devons int\u00e9grer les politiques de l'eau, de l'\u00e9nergie et de l'agriculture au niveau des bassins afin de minimiser les conflits et de maximiser les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices pour les humains et les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes\u201d.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Benedito Braga a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 en s'adressant aux participants lors de la session pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re du premier jour. \u201cLes solutions passent par des politiques globales et coh\u00e9rentes qui tiennent compte de l'interd\u00e9pendance entre l'eau et l'\u00e9nergie\u201d, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Servant d'\u00e9tape de transition sur le th\u00e8me entre le 6\u00e8me Forum mondial de l'eau de Marseille (mars 2012) et le 7\u00e8me Forum mondial de l'eau de Daegu (avril 2015), la conf\u00e9rence s'inscrit \u00e9galement dans la perspective de la COP 21 qui se tiendra en d\u00e9cembre 2015 \u00e0 Paris (France).
