Benedito Braga, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 aujourd'hui \u00e0 Sao Paulo, au Br\u00e9sil, \u00e0 propos du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre expert, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es gouverneur du Conseil mondial de l'eau, que \u201cM. Briscoe a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 en jetant les bases de la strat\u00e9gie actuelle du Conseil mondial de l'eau en faveur d'un monde s\u00fbr en mati\u00e8re d'eau\u201d.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Le comit\u00e9 du prix reconna\u00eet le g\u00e9nie du professeur Briscoe qui \u201cr\u00e9side dans sa fusion de la science, de la politique et de la pratique, ce qui lui donne un aper\u00e7u in\u00e9gal\u00e9 de la fa\u00e7on dont l'eau devrait \u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9e pour am\u00e9liorer la vie des gens dans le monde entier\u201d. Le professeur Briscoe recevra sa r\u00e9compense en septembre 2014 pour avoir \u201ccombin\u00e9 une recherche de classe mondiale avec la mise en \u0153uvre de politiques et la pratique pour am\u00e9liorer le d\u00e9veloppement et la gestion des ressources en eau ainsi que l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau potable et \u00e0 l'assainissement\u201d.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201c<i>Je consid\u00e8re que ce prix reconna\u00eet l'importance des \u2018praticiens de la r\u00e9flexion\u2019, exactement le type de personnes qui ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le essentiel pour faire du Conseil mondial de l'eau une organisation mondiale aussi importante et inclusive et des forums mondiaux de l'eau aussi importants,<\/i>\u201da d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Briscoe.<\/div>\n<div><b>\u00c0 propos du professeur John Briscoe\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Aujourd'hui professeur \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Harvard, John Briscoe a \u00e9t\u00e9 salu\u00e9 en tant que d\u00e9cideur politique et en tant que praticien de terrain, pour avoir combl\u00e9 le foss\u00e9 entre la bonne gestion de l'environnement et les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique.
