Un objectif autonome pour l'eau est essentiel dans le cadre du programme de d\u00e9veloppement post-2015\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Benedito Braga, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil mondial de l'eau, dans son discours d'ouverture du Sommet de l'eau de Budapest en octobre dernier.<\/div>\n<div>Le Conseil mondial de l'eau vient de publier sa prise de position en faveur d'un objectif de d\u00e9veloppement durable d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau dans le cadre de l'apr\u00e8s-2015 et identifiant l'eau comme une condition pr\u00e9alable \u00e0 tout d\u00e9veloppement.  Ce document servira \u00e0 porter la voix de la communaut\u00e9 internationale de l'eau aupr\u00e8s du groupe de travail ouvert des Nations unies sur les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable, qui doit se r\u00e9unir jusqu'en f\u00e9vrier 2014. \u201cIl est essentiel de consolider autant que possible le soutien \u00e0 un objectif d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau d'ici f\u00e9vrier prochain, en pr\u00e9vision des prochaines \u00e9tapes qui seront franchies pour \u00e9tablir les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Karin Krchnak, membre du Bureau du Conseil mondial de l'eau et pr\u00e9sidente du groupe de travail sp\u00e9cial du Conseil sur les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/div>\n<div>Le document souligne avant tout le r\u00f4le transversal de l'eau dans le soutien au d\u00e9veloppement pour \u00e9radiquer la pauvret\u00e9 et met en \u00e9vidence d'autres questions telles que l'importance de maintenir l'\u00e9lan g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par les objectifs du Mill\u00e9naire pour le d\u00e9veloppement, et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'une plateforme multipartite de haut niveau o\u00f9 les id\u00e9es peuvent converger et \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es.
