Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement de deux jours a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9 par des invit\u00e9s de marque : M. Seoung-hwan Suh, ministre du territoire, des infrastructures et des transports de la R\u00e9publique de Cor\u00e9e, M. Bum-il Kim, maire de Daegu, M. Jung-moo Lee, pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 national du 7e Forum mondial de l'eau, et M. Kwan-yong Kim, gouverneur de la province de Gyeongbuk.<\/div>\n<div>La veille, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de bienvenue a eu lieu \u00e0 S\u00e9oul, \u00e0 l'h\u00f4tel Hyatt, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte par M. Hongwon Chung, Premier ministre de la R\u00e9publique de Cor\u00e9e. Yong Jiao, vice-ministre chinois des ressources en eau et le repr\u00e9sentant du maire de Marseille, Martine Vassal, ont \u00e9galement assist\u00e9 \u00e0 cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de bienvenue.<\/div>\n<div>Le lancement officiel de la 7e \u00e9dition du plus grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement mondial sur l'eau marque le d\u00e9but d'un processus pr\u00e9paratoire de deux ans qui aboutira \u00e0 la semaine du Forum en avril 2015. Pr\u00e8s de 500 repr\u00e9sentants de la communaut\u00e9 mondiale de l'eau participent \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement. Au cours de sessions interactives en petits groupes, ils travaillent ensemble \u00e0 l'\u00e9laboration des principes directeurs du prochain forum et pr\u00e9parent le terrain pour les quatre processus de travail - th\u00e9matique, r\u00e9gional, politique et science et technologie. \u201cConcevoir les processus et leurs r\u00e9sultats attendus est un grand d\u00e9fi et c'est pourquoi cela n\u00e9cessite les connaissances et l'exp\u00e9rience de nombreuses parties prenantes\u201c, d\u00e9clare Henk Sterk, directeur ex\u00e9cutif du CME nouvellement nomm\u00e9. Les ateliers seront anim\u00e9s par des repr\u00e9sentants des principales organisations internationales impliqu\u00e9es dans la cause de l'eau, telles que l'UNESCO, UN Habitat, l'OCDE, Green Cross International et le WWF-US.<\/div>\n<div>Le Forum mondial de l'eau est le plus grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement li\u00e9 \u00e0 l'eau dans le monde, visant \u00e0 mettre l'eau \u00e0 l'ordre du jour international. Il est organis\u00e9 tous les trois ans par le Conseil mondial de l'eau en collaboration avec les autorit\u00e9s du pays h\u00f4te.
