Le 6\u00e8me Forum mondial de l'eau s'est achev\u00e9 samedi 17 apr\u00e8s une semaine fructueuse d'\u00e9changes entre les principaux acteurs de l'eau. Les objectifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 atteints : 35 000 participants, 173 pays repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, plus de 750 \u00e9lus, 3 500 repr\u00e9sentants d'ONG et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 400 sessions comprenant des d\u00e9bats th\u00e9matiques, politiques, r\u00e9gionaux et locaux. Le th\u00e8me \u00e9tait \u201cLe temps des solutions\u201d. Une plateforme \u00e9lectronique a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9e pour le 6e forum et plus de 1 400 contributions proposant des solutions pour l'eau dans le monde ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recueillies (www.solutionsforwater.org<\/a>). Plus de 70 solutions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le \u201cvillage des solutions\u201d, l'un des principaux carrefours du Forum. Les agences de l'ONU, les gouvernements, les parlementaires, les gouvernements locaux, les agences d'aide au d\u00e9veloppement, les professionnels de l'eau, les acteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, les repr\u00e9sentants des femmes et des jeunes ont pris des engagements significatifs pour am\u00e9liorer l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau et \u00e0 l'assainissement. Ces engagements seront r\u00e9pertori\u00e9s et suivis jusqu'au 7e Forum mondial de l'eau, qui se tiendra en 2015 \u00e0 Daegu, Gyeongbuk, en Cor\u00e9e du Sud. A cet \u00e9gard, le Conseil mondial de l'eau, par la voix de son pr\u00e9sident, Lo\u00efc Fauchon, a annonc\u00e9 plusieurs engagements, dont la continuit\u00e9 de la plateforme Solutions pour l'eau et l'entr\u00e9e de trois jeunes membres au sein du Conseil des gouverneurs du Conseil. Le Conseil s'est \u00e9galement engag\u00e9 \u00e0 doubler le nombre d'Etats ayant reconnu le droit \u00e0 l'eau et \u00e0 l'assainissement, 40 pour l'instant, et \u00e0 inscrire ce droit dans leurs constitutions. La cr\u00e9ation d'une Fondation pour l'eau dans les \u00e9coles a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9voqu\u00e9e.
