Summary
The Water Management Conference is an annual event providing an accessible forum for debate and discussion on water supply, sewerage and broader water management issues. The event presents an opportunity for councilors, council staff, water managers, government representatives and the broader industry to tackle the key issues and discuss ways forward to achieve a sustainable future.
The 2006 Water Management Conference was held in Broken Hill on 16-18 August 2006, and co-hosted by Broken Hill City Council and Country Water.
The 2007 Water Management Conference was hosted by Inverell Shire Council on 16-17 August, and will explore the changing landscape of water management and its implications for local government.
The 2008 Water Management Conference will be hosted by Ballina Shire Council on 13-15 August, and will explore the changing landscape of water management and its implications for local government.
