Dr. Andras SZOLLOSI-NAGY, Secretary
Andràs Szöllösi-Nagy is currently Director of the Division of Water and Secretary of the International Hydrological Programme of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Since 2000 he has also served as Deputy Assistant Director-General of the Natural Sciences Sector. He was elected life member of the International Water Academy and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the World Water Council and as a member of UN-Water.
Mr Szöllösi-Nagy was awarded a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1991. In the same year, he was made a Dr Habil by the Budapest University of Technology. In 1992, he was made Professor HC at the Technical University of Budapest and in 1994 full Professor (of Hydrodynamics) at the same institution. In 2005, he was given the Distinguished Associate Award of the International Association of Hydrogeologists. He has published several books and more than 150 technical papers.

Jose Alberto TEJADA-GUIBERT
Mr. Tejada-Guibert has thirty-five years of experience in water resources. He worked with the Peruvian Government in the national rural water supply plan and in a major irrigation-hydropower project, later was partner and Technical Manager for eight years at a consulting firm and was Advisor to the Peruvian Electricity Master Plan. He joined the UN in 1990 as Technical Expert in Yemen and in Bangladesh. At UNESCO's International Hydrogical Programme (IHP) since 1996, he has managed urban water management and other technical activities; in 2003 he was appointed Deputy Secretary of IHP and has assumed the post of Director a.i. of the Division of Water Sciences in September 2009. He has been an Alternate Governor of WWC for UNESCO in several opportunities. He holds the degrees of Civil Engineer (Hydraulics), MSc Eng. Econ. Planning (Stanford), MSc Hydrological Engineering (IHE, Delft), and PhD Water resources systems (Cornell).
