About the Governor representative

Tomoo INOUE
He has been working for water sector, by utilizing knowledge and experience in the field of civil engineering, economics and political science. He was in charge of international coordination for the Ministerial Conference held at the 3rd World Water Forum in 2003, and was dedicated to river basin management in Yodo River and Biwa Lake in 2007-2008 in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Japan. Recently, as the Director of Japan Water Forum, he was in charge of the promotion of the regional Processes in Asia-Pacific region towards the 5th World Water Forum and beyond.
About the Alternate representative

Shinobu FUKUMOTO
She has been working for water sectors since 1997, by employing her experiences in the field of public relations. She was in charge of media communications as one of the member of Secretariat of the 3rd World Water Forum in 2003, and was dedicated to sub-regional coordination’s for the 1st Asia-Pacific Water Summit in 2007. She has been in the position linked with WWC and WWC members in Japan, kept updating the information of WWC to the Japanese members.
