French Senator, President ot the county Council of "la Manche";, appointed delegate of the Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe. In charge of the biodiversity and water ressources; and on genetically modified organism studygroups in the "Grenelle de l'environnement" process (multistakeholders political debates about environnemental and sustainable development issues). Participate in 2006 to the 4th World Water forum in Mexico ( and co-writer of the parliamentarians statement). President of the French water society since 2004. Previous occupation: Veterinarian.
About the Alternate representative
Pierre VICTORIA
Pierre Victoria is a Former Deputy in the French National Assembly. He is currently General Advisor for the Cercle Français de l'Eau. He has served in this capacity since 2004. Prior to this, he worked for 15 years within Générale des Eaux-Véolia Water and 12 years of public municipal service and state administration. Pierre Victoria is graduated from the Political Studies Institute of Paris, Economic and Financial Division and he also has a Masters in Business Law from the University of Paris X.
