Authorities

The award organization involves three organs, namely:

1. Prize Committee:

 

The Prize Committee is responsible for the overall plannning, management and promotion of the Prize. It is composed of seven members and of special advisors.

     

2. Panel of Judges

 

The Panel of Judges is in charge of the evaluation of the nomination proposals, in accordance with the rules, and screened according to the criteria of the Prize Committee.

 

For the 4th edition of the Prize, the Panel of Judges is composed of the following personnalities:

  Association, Turkey
  Arthur Askew, former IAHS President, England
  Shinobu Fukumoto, Manager, Japan Water Forum, Japan
  Isabel Tocino, former Minister of Environment, Spain
  Bernard Fautrier, Vice President of the Foundation Albert II of Monaco
• Morocco:
  Majid Benbiba, General Director of Hydraulics
  Abdelhafid Debbagh, Secretary General of the Department of Higher Education
  Abdeladim Hafi, High Commissioner for Water, Forestry and Fight against Desertification
  Rahma Bourquia, Professor at Hassan II University of Mohammedia

 

3. Secretariat

  

The Secretariat of the Prize is located at the headquarters of the World Water Council. It comprises Council's staff and is managed by the Executive Director, the Prize Coordinator and the Administrator.
